In an abandoned town during wartime, an elderly baker lives with his ailing wife, whose fragile memory is slowly fading. To protect her from the surrounding chaos, he invents small, comforting lies about the world beyond their home. As the sounds of war grow closer and the illusion becomes harder to maintain, his quiet routine is challenged. When his wife begins to sense the truth behind his stories, their shared silence turns deception into a fragile act of love and survival.
