Synopsis — VEILED Newspapers report the bitter realities of society; a street sweeper brushes their headlines away, but human suffering cannot be erased with a few strokes of a broom. A father buys a gift for his ailing daughter, Hedyeh—a doll whose name echoes the very meaning of a gift. In a black-and-white world, this brief moment of happiness stands against a painful truth. Desperate to save his daughter, the father clings to hope, yet finds himself increasingly trapped between love, helplessness, and a fate he cannot change. Sometimes, behind a life judged by others, lies a truth that no headline and no account can ever fully reveal.
